I have a D/W m#GE GSD5320D03BB that will continue to have water remain in the tub at the bottom. I have cleaned out the sump, replaces the separate drain motor and pump assembly. I still have water remaining, is there a possibility of a weak current to the drain pump? any ideas??? Thanks:cool:

The secondary pump on the outlet has a rubber flapper check valve, When installing this pump it sometimes moves, causing problems the secondary pump only activates for the last 30 seconds of pump out. Check out the drain flapper on the soil collection chamber If these are all Ok then maybe the drain flapper inside pump is bad you have to remove pump and check for this.

That silly little check valve on the outlet hose was my problem when I had the same symptom. Everything looked good, except water didn't drain. Pull the valve off, wash it real good, and put it back on. Funny, the valve didn't look that bad, but I guess it was just sticking from nearly-invisible gunk in there. Maybe even splurge and buy a new one.
