This machine is in my new apartment, underneath its matching dryer. Would like to find service manual if it's to be had. First thing I had to do was tackle the mildew stench! An individual (who may have been me, but probably not) added a cleaning agent not generally associated with washing machine cleanout (but still arguably appropriate given that eventually a drain was involved) together with a pot of boiling water, and ran the machine through a heavy-wash/hot cycle. Lots of suds and lots of chips and chunks of black mould stirred up! Then two rinses, then another heavy-wash/hot cycle with a couple dishwasher detergent tablets and another two rinses, and I do believe the mildew's been whipped for now.

 

Second task: figure out why the drain pump is so loud. Sounds like it's loose on its mounts and vibrating against something. Would like to have that service manual before I tackle it. Would also like to know if I need to be keeping an eye out for a filter while I'm in there.
