Ouch! When I tried to download the 3 items I was denied with the message claiming that I had exceeded by allotted downloads for the day - but I haven't downloaded anything today. My Apprenticeship is current until Dec. 28th.

According to the download report, you've made 7 downloads to date.  Looks like you're downloading the same file multiple times.  So you probably have multiple copies of the same file on your hard drive your you're downloading using some tablet that's not fully compatible.  Just review what you're doing and be aware of this for future reference to avoid this problem.
