changing door gaskets, any tips? Do I need to lay in out in the sun or room temp?  cut old gasket or does it come off with screws?  Do I need any kind of sealer?

Looks like this is standard gasket held in with a bazillion screws.  Might be easier on a chest freezer if you remove the door and lay it down.  Some other tips for replacing gaskets here:  http://fixitnow.com/wp/2003/03/11/appliance-tip-of-the-day-zen-and-the-art-of-refrigerator-door-gasket-replacement/
