Ok time to replace my rusted out 18 y.o maytag sxs.looking for a french door 23-26" size, I usually prefer whirlpool products, not completely sold on lg and samsung seems to be a gamble.needs to have water dispense.any recommendations?

I recommend the Whirlpool French door models as well. Just search on Whirlpool's website for the features you want and the dimensions that will fit your kitchen.  Width and height are very important.  Make sure whatever you buy you register your appliance for warranty reasons.  I also recommend buying the extended warranty from the manufacturer, NOT the store from where you purchased it, because they only give you a one year warranty on the whole refrigerator and if the compressor or any of the electronic controls fails, it's going to be very costly. To me, it's worth the extra piece of mind.
