I have replaced the shorted compressor with the same part number but a slightly different relay cam with it without the start capacitor.   It will start without the capacitor but draws 4amps and the low side goes into a vacuum.  I double checked my charge of 5.25oz and its no over. Also the pressures equalize in a reasonable amount of time.  I also pressure tested it with nitrogen over night and it was good.   Any ideas?
