All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological: bidness, customers, tools, troubleshooting, flavorite brewski, whatever. Webcams and microphones are open and live!
This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, May 11 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. How do I access the library?  Also, I tried to send an email to the ultimate guru, since he was not avaikable live, and could find no button to SEND it.  In other words, how can I get all the benefits of being a humble student that are advertised?

Hi, Award. You should have received your access link already. If you're having problems accessing the Xdrive, lemme know. You can either post a reply here or call me at 603-526-7129 anytime. If you use AIM, my screen name is zenzoidman.

I just signed in to xdrive using the link you emailed me.  Xdrive responded saying the the info was either incorrect or had expired.

I did not copy it, but clicked on it.

If you want I can paste it in an email to you, but I didn't know if you wanted it shown in the forum.

Please help.

When you created your Xdrive account, did you add your name to your account information as explained in the access link instructions I emailed you?

Also, for subsequent log ins to the Xdrive, don't use the access link-- that's a one-time deal. From then on, just got to www.xdrive.com and log in using your username (email address) and password.

Lemme know how you go.

My name (Ashley Lott) is on the account; it was added automatically when I paid with PayPal.

Signing on to Xdrive is no problem, but how do I find the repair manuals, etc?

I'm not seeing your name in the share list. Please make sure your name is included in your Xdrive account. I know it's confusing, there are several disparate places. I did see a ::private:: share appear earlier today, which I deleted since I don't know who I'm sharing the folder with.

Log in to your Xdrive account and check your account settings. Make sure your name is listed there. Re-read the instruction email I sent with your access link. Meanwhile, I'll resend the access link.
