what did you find when you searched the dl section?

I found the manual for JCB2388. Not sure if its the same for my model JCB2385. What do you think?

I'm glad that you found that one... but isn't there another manual that may be closer? Did you search JCB22* or even JCB228*? Did anything come up?

The next step would be to check and see if your model and the one covered by the manual you found use the same interface and mainboard. If so, then documentation is more than likely compatible. Although I order my parts from Appliancepartspros, I find repaiclinic is easier to use when comparing parts.

ps we have recently made it a point of emphasis to assist and help train in search techniques. Certainly it's faster in the short run to simply provide you with the info but it really pays dividends in the long run for both techs and mods. If we readily had access to the exact manual and it wasn't in the dl section, we would certainly upload it. But if and until we have the exact. manual, honing your search techniques so that you can find close or compatible manuals in the dl section can save you a lot of time.

Also understand that we may not know if a manual that seems compatible is actually compatible unless we go through the process of comparing boards and sometimes even downloading the manual ourselves to examine it. With the number of manual requests we receive that can be a daunting task. Usually the requester is in a better position to judge compatibility better than we can.
