All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Set a reminder for yourself for this workshop so you don’t miss it.  And check out past workshops here: https://appliantology.org/announcement/33-webinar-recordings-index-page/

GE Monogram Freezer ZIFS36NMILH Service Manual

Been working on a GE Monogram Freezer for 2 days now.   2006 mfg.  The first call, "My Freezer Is Not Cold".   Going to the house, I found several things.

Top of Freezer 48 degrees (bottom) 32 degrees.

1. The Evaporator Fan Motor seem to be intermittent.

2. The Door Seal does not seem very strong. Possible leak at top.  (The H.O. says the Freezer normally "Sucks" the door Closed?  Can't figure that one out.) Currently it's Not Sucking the Door Closed (even when pushing on it).

3. Defrost Heater is drawing 2.7 amps (and evaporator looks to be free of ice but the Front cover was Iced Up).  Pulled the lower draws and used a heat gun to remove ice.

4.  Very little Air coming from Evaporator Fan.

The first day I replaced the Defrost Timer Hoping that it was the problem.  Today going back it's not any better. Temps about the same. The defrost timer Red & Black wires go to compressor,  Yellow wire was drawing 2.7 amps in defrost and Orange zero.

I cleaned both sides of the evaporator(s) yesterday.  The compressor high side line is Hot to the Touch (which makes me think the charge is OK).   The suction line is about ambient temp 70 degrees.  Condenser temp is also about ambient.

The kicker is the Wiring Diagram is MISSING!   I have not been able to locate one.   Is the Evaporator Fan connected directly to the Left Door Switch (or does it go through a temp sensor)?

Any Help Would Be Appreciated!  I searched before posting for the Service Manual and shortened the Model Number hoping for a Hit on something close but no luck.

I Used the SEARCH and Did Not Locate Anything.

Sorry if I Asked a Question.  (Didn't see any Edit to remove the other.)

I NEED A SERVICE MANUAL or ELECTRICAL DIAGRAM.

While that search is underway, it would be prudent to seek advice in the kitchen forum.
