Not sure but can you use the 2001 k model manual in the dl section as the base manual and then use the tech sheet to supplement? .. there is a kss036 tech sheet in the dl section

It uses the same tech sheet as the older models, which I have.  The main board tech sheet, 2318069, does not cover diagnostics.   The older KSSxxxx manual, 4317326A, looks pretty similar, but I'm not sure if the service mode entry procedure is the same, I couldn't get into service mode using that one on the KSSO42, but then again it has a bad board so that may be why.

Thanks man.  At the very least it verifies that service mode entry is not the same as the older KSSxxx models.
