Speed Queen / LWS01A Raytheon Commercial Laundry

I'm looking to buy a older Speed Queen and came across this one....is shows a manafacture date of 1998.

It has the blue porcelian speckled paint for the tub.

I have worked on my share of washing machines in the past--- Kenmore, Amana, GE, Maytag (pre and post Whrilpool), etc...So I kinda know my way around reparing washing machines

Are S.Q. hard to repair?

Are parts hard to find for S.Q.?

So the SQ's pre Alliance Laundry Systems LLC. do they need a ton of special tools to work on the washers?

Does anyone know what changes were made to the SQ washer after the sale to Alliance Laundry Systems LLC thats warrents the need of more special tools to work on these washers?

These do not need any "special" tools. When Raytheon owned Speed Queen, they often had other major commercial manufacturers (such as Dexter) make their product. These are more like the Original washer design, before the direct drive washers came out. In any case, this is very old, almost 20 years, and it does not have a stainless steel basket. I don't think it is worth paying much for this washer, maybe 200 tops.
