Bad model number.

Please verify the model number BEFORE you post a service manual request. You can easily do this by plugging the model number in to an online parts site.

The point here, Scott, is that professional technicians, knowing how important model numbers are, should verify they have a valid model number BEFORE they post a request and waste their time and ours. I'm here to help professional techs improve their craft to the extent they are willing to learn. But not bothering to verify a valid model number is sloppy and lazy and that I cannot help. So let's stop handing out fish and instead teach them how to fish.

That would eliminate most of my customers!

Sorry for the error!

And Thanks Scottthewolf for your efforts in figuring this out for me and providing the Tech Info!

All I can get on Service Matters now with their new site re-design is the use and care guide and parts manuals-- no more access to the Maytag historical library. Hopefully they'll restore that functionality soon!
