I'm pretty sure most parts for that unit are no longer available.

It's been a verrrrryyyyyyy long time since I've seen or worked on one of those.

If I remember correctly the tub has to spin for the water to exit, (centrifugal force cause the water to rise up and out of the spin basket then into the outer tub were it can go to the drain pump.  If the clutch is bad it won't spin fast enough to force all the water over the top of the spin basket to be drained out, (If I'm remembering this correctly there will be no holes in the basket so water just fills up in the basket - not the outer tub).

The one thing that isn't clicking in my memory right now is how it determined the water level with just the spin basket filling up and not the outer tub for a water level pressure sensor.

thanks it does spin but maybe not fast enuff  .the pump must be under tub or something   I cant find any parts available, although the dryer has some common parts to newer dryers, I didn't think there was hope for it.its the strangest washer ive ever seen

Yes, they are quite the strange beast, the only one I've ever ran into built with that type of transmission, (if you can even call it that), setup.

Not the friendliest to work on either!
