Whirlpool DU1055XTSS3 Rinse Dispenser

Rinse aid dispenser filled about 30 washes ago, but indicator continues to read full. Suspect rinse aid not dispensing. Other possibility is that it has dispensed and is empty, but indicator reading is faulty. I know dispenser can be replaced, but I'd rather not if there is another fix. Please advise. Thanks in advance.  My wife will thank you, as will I.

My own follow up... We have been using the non heated dry feature. Just tried with heating, and found that rinse was dispensed, leading me to believe that it is only dispensed during heated drying. Nothing in manual on this. Can anyone confirm?

You'll need to put the control into diagnostic mode and pull the error codes. The tech sheet has the procedure for this. If it hasn't been stolen, you'l find it behind the kickplates at the bottom front of the dishwasher.

Thanks...As I mentioned, I suspect the rinse dispenser only works in heated dry mode, which we lately haven't been using. Used heated dry on last wash and dispenser worked.

Yes, I caught that in your first post. In these computer-controlled appliances, your first move is always to talk to the computer board and let it tell you what it thinks is wrong. From there, we proceed to specific testing.
