Maytag MCE8000AYW Console replacement

First off you guys are great.  Over the years you have saved me not hundreds but thousands!  This time the part I needed wasn't available but your advice help me track one down.  Now here's the part I need your help with.  I have a Maytag Neptune Drying Center (MCE8000AYW) which we love and will do whatever it takes to keep it running .  To that end,,,, 2 of the console panel switches have recently stopped working and the fix is to replace the panel (3100658)  my question is how do you remove the old panel.  It looks like you pull it from both sides and it just pops lose.

So I'm I on the right track or am I missing something?

From a service manual. Remove screws from inside the cabinet then roll console out and down.
