Trying to replace a defective infinite control and cannot figure out how to remove the last left and right trim pieces that are holding the panel cover in place. Cannot see any accessible screws or nuts that are holding the trim pieces in place. Thanks

I realize you may need some additional information. The full model number for this GE Drop in range is :J JSP48G 0J3BG.

The controls are on the front and the panel also contains an analog clock and oven timer controls. I removed the stainless trim along both sides and the grill work above the oven door. Two angle trim pieces remain. They hold the panel from opening enough to replace the switches. I have no idea why someone would design an appliance like this. It's a royal pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
