Is there a way to adjust low flame on the surface burners?

Posted

Most makes and models give good instructions on how to adjust the flame via the user manual.  Some models can be adjusted with a small flat tip screwdriver inside the burner valve shaft.  I can't find a good picture of any of your valves looking down the burner valve shaft.

Yea, it would be nice if the customer kept the use and care manual. I couldn't see a low flame adjusting screw from the front on this model so I'm wondering if the top needs to come off? I don't want to remove if there is no adjusting screw.

Go to sears parts direct and the owners manual is listed there under the model number, too large to put here. Not sure if what you need is in it, did not look.

Thanks for the tip on sears parts direct, I will use that in the future. Unfortunately there is no information on adjusting burner flames.

Need to remove knob and with a very small screwdriver inserted inside the shaft and burner on low you can raise and lower the flame.
