I checked the wiring that plugs into the hall sensor did not see any damage or burnt spots. Is there another section of wiring to check? Could the problem lie in the control panel?

yes It could be the control board .   I would replace the new hall sensor with another new one first before doing anything !    There is a way to check the hall sensor to see if its shorted . You need to check that you have everything hooked up properly and tightened and connected back up properly when you replaced the hall sensor. The hall sensor may not be inserted properly all the way.  Make sure none of the magnets in the stator have any hair line cracks and that the stator was put back properly and tightened back up properly. You need to check the wire harness connections for the hall sensor and make sure that each wire does not have a break in it all the way to the control board connection where it is inserted into the control board.  You might just have an intermittent connection in one of the hall sensor wires and when it goes into spin you loose communication to the mother board. You also need to make positively sure you put the right hall sensor in also. I believe there were 2 different hall sensor part numbers for the LG tromm's hall sensor replacement and there is a possibility you put the wrong one in maybe.

Ok so after visual inspection of all wiring, stator, correct hall sensor and making sure everything is tightened and installed correctly I ran a load with the top and back covers off. It got into about 5 min of the wash when I got the LE code. So restarted it as it was draining the water the LE code come back on. Restarted again it finished draining and restarted the cycle. During this cycle I moved around wiring forcible shaking it, jiggled the connections to the hall sensor and wire harness. Nothing made the LE error come on. About 10 min into the cycle this time I get the code. Restarted it drained and restarted just fine this time. As the water was filling up I get the LE code.

There is no rhyme or reason as to why the code is popping up.

Could a fault door sensor/latch cause the LE error code. Reason I asked because the washer was off and I pushed against the door and the LE code went off.

I guess whatever I have done I have screwed it up more. Now I get a upside down "F" E code now as soon as I hit the power button. Will not do anything else.

If it's a "te" code check the wiring at the thermistor
