Having 2 problems with Viking stove. 1. we can sometimes smell gas and hear popping sounds when oven is on, plus oven doesn't seem to get up to temp. I opened up the floor of the oven, set the oven knob to start and after a minute or two the 2 burners light. The one on the left lights entirely and the one on the right only lights on the side of the tube facing the ignitor. Not sure what to do!

2. stove burner ignitors click and click but only very rarely do they ignite the flame. Read online to use a qtip with alcohol to clean them, which I did and also to use emery cloth to clean the electrode. After doing those things, none do anything. No clicks, no ignition.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like a problem with the oven burners.

For the top burners are the burner heads clean, not clogged?  Are the sparks jumping from the igniter to the burner?  You should be able to clearly see that.

I fixed the oven issue.  The tubular burners have a slit on the bottom near the ignitor to allow the flame to jump to the other side. One was clogged. When I cleared it, both sides of burner  lighted.

as to the burners, don't think they're clogged as they light readily with a match. Sometimes they click and spark and other times they click and don't spark...and sometimes they don't do anything.
