Kenmore oasis elite 110.27032600 not getting clothes clean

Washer is not getting clothes very clean all of the sudden even when pretreated. My husband has checked the hose inlets and there was a little residue. After that was cleaned and ran load with stain treat, auto soak, warm/cold setting and extra rinse still is not removing dirt and there is some kind of residue on the clothes. I had run a washing machine powdered cleaner through it prior to try to help and because it smelled.  The machine sounds normal when running. Is there any troubleshooting that could be done?

What soap are you using and how much?

Arm & Hammer plus oxy clean  liquid I have tried filling the cup for medium loads and for heavy loads and didn't make a difference. Arm & Hammer plus oxy clean powder I have tried for med loads and large loads. I was wondering if putting the detergent directly in the tub would work or if that may not be recommended with this washer?

Sounds like you are using too much detergent. 

 

2 tablespoon is recommended for HE detergent. If it's HE 2x one tablespoon. 

 

Sounds to me like suds not rinsing away completely.

Thanks for your response, it's not an HE.  I just put another load through and it is actually not agitating when on wash cycle.

Oh ok most oasis kenmore elites I see are HE. 

 

Not agitating is a whole new ball game. Does it indicate any error codes?

You can take it apart find the tech sheet in the cabinet and run the diagnostic tests.
