Hello everyone,

I have a 3 year old top loading washer Samsung WA5451anw/xaa 02 that will not complete the spin cycle.  It spins smoothly on the slow and medium spin, then when it gets fast the drum will suddenly start shaking violently and banging inside the machine, then it stops and tries it again, ultimately throwing the dc code.

Damper rods have all been replaced, machine is level.  When we took out the inner drum, we noticed that the flange shaft has surface corrosion and has some upward wiggle (I can pull one arm up about 1/8 to 1/4").  Is the flange supposed to be able to move like that?  If not, how do I stop it from wiggling?

Thank you for any advice you can give me!
