I installed a new washer speed control board, but now it trips the breaker. It will fill and then as soon as it clicks over to spin, it trips. Any ideas? I can see it move before it stops. Thanks!

Do you have the front or rear panels off? If so tape down the grounding switches and see if that makes a difference.  Also is it tripping the breaker or a gfi outlet?

I do have the front panel off and it is tripping the GFI outlet.

Put the panel back on and try again, also appliances are not really supposed to be on gfi outlet s

Wow. Spot on with that diagnosis. The missing panel was the issue. Washer is working again. Thank you!
