I have the above listed Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher for over a year.  Since we've had it, it has had the same problem since the beginning.  I load it and start it (it displays a timer usually around 120 min) on normal wash.  I am rinsing the dishes first, as well as turning on the sinks hot water beforehand.  It runs for for less than the 120 min, then begins beeping.  If I open it, the dishes look clean but still have a bit of a film on them.  On the display, in the timer part, it reads ".20".  If I hit start, then that changes to a new time, usually around 65 min.  It may or may not run for that entire time and it usually runs thru a whole new cycle, but sometimes it'll do it again and the time it displays is less.

We're talking about a load of dishes that are already rinsed taking nearly 3-4 hours to complete.  And by complete, I mean the dishwasher is now projecting the green light on the floor to show it is done.

We've had the warranty repair ppl come out at least 7 times.  They've replaced the door latch bc at one pt, it was displaying the CL error code. They've replaced the drain sensor, the temp sensor and a couple other things.  Best Buy said we were out of luck trying to replace it and Frigidaire says they'll replace it if it is declared unfixable but the repair ppl said that's pretty much a lie.  So I'm down to troubleshooting it myself or cutting my losses and buying a new one.  So far, it's been under warranty but that's about to run out.  Any suggestions?

You need food on your dishes for detergent to activate.  Please stop pre rinsing your dishes.  Rather you should scrap all big and hard chunks off with a fork. Leaving greases, sauces,etc...  Eggs may be the exception.  Some dishwasher are good enough for eggs,  some aren't.

How old is your detergent?  Has it gotten wet? Stored in a dry, low humidity area?
