Kenmore 110.92580800 slams during spin cycle

On heavy loads she slams when spinning unless the clothes are perfectly balanced.  Is there a spring kit that needs replacing?

With the cabinet off you should see 3 short springs connected between the moving basket/tub assy. and the stationary machine base. The other long spring opposite the motor is there to counter the motor's weight. One of these could be broken or dis-connected.

All 4 springs are intact.  I assume the are just stretched?

Sorry for the reposts.  Will new springs solve the problem? Anything else I should replace while I have it taken apart?

Check the white suspension pads

if it "slams" when it comes to a stop it is glazing on the brake pads inside the basket drive... a little silicone gel will fix that. Also there are three white "snubber" pads between the metal triangular frame that holds the washtub and the support tripod that holds it off the floor- if they are worn or damaged the washtub will be very squirrely!
