I'm really hoping someone here can help.

My front loading washer won't drain or spin. The drain motor makes a humming sound and sometimes a little water will trickle out of the drain hose, sometimes not.

I pulled the front of the washer apart today to see if the filter was clogged but, aside from some funky grime, it was totally clear. I stuck my finger into the motor until it hit the impeller, didn't feel anything obvious, and put it back together.

It's been doing this this off and on for awhile and sometimes I have to run it 2-5 times to get a load to drain and spin, but it doesn't seem to be working now. It will fill with water, agitate, then shut down shortly after I hear the pump start humming.

Help?

Update:

I figured out how to put it into diagnostic mode. It drains like a champ in that mode, but won't go into high speed spin. There's no digital readout, so I don't know how to read an error code.

If it will drain out like a champ in the diagnostic mode every time you try it, then you then can eliminate the pump. Your wiring Check that component out.  Side note: always inspect those little wires that plug into the pump. I've seen them break causing a lot of works and then don't work moments.

Find the tech sheet and get the error codes, the door lock is probably bad
