inexpensive spark module? ge stove 317b6641p001

We recently found a ge oven model 317b6641p001. Someone had remove the spark module. Anyone know where an inexpensive module can be gotten?

When I do a search for GE spark modules, I found one that is around $31. Wondering if it could be used? WB13T10046

It might work, but I am big in using parts that originate in the appliance, Appliance service techs are not engineers so we technically cannot modify an appliance unless there are extreme circumstances. We use part lists that are provided by manufactures to use as replacement parts because we know they work in that appliance. So if you order the 30 dollar one and it does not work now you have to spend the 71 dollars on top of that to get the correct part. Always do it right the first time, makes repairs a lot easier.

The cheaper $31 one would work as far as the type it is.  You would have to mount it with screws, the original one has plastic clips that snap into slots in the panel it sets on.

The Line and Neutral terminals on both modules are standard 1/4" terminals but you may have a problem with the ignitor wires.  The ignitors wires on your original module are 3/16" terminals, the cheaper module uses 1/8" terminals boxed in with plastic, (if the 3/16" ends aren't too big to slide inside the plastic square around each terminal and they make a good connection on the terminals then it would work, otherwise you would have to cut the 3/16" terminals off the ignitor wires and replace with 1/8" terminals).

Start off correctly.  Get the correct model number off the unit. Slide out the bottom drawer and there will be a white or silver tag on one of the legs. Use that model number to look up your parts.  I also try always to use the original parts the appliance calls for, it makes for no wondering if it is compatible and two generally the easiest to install. The price may even be cheaper at times.
