Hello all, this washer has been a problem since it was purchased. How about the installation pros that left the shipping rod in.Anyway, this machine won't spin properly and seems out of balance no matter what. Drum seems to float where ever it wants to and starts banging all around. Adjusting the load doesn't seem to help.Any advice is appreciated,Robert

Also,I just moved the spindle around, and side to side the drum will move to the sides of the machine. front to back seems to be firmer, with not as much slack

Thank you for the reply. After watching a couple videos on this site,I did some investigating and found one of the top rubber straps had come off that hold the tub. It seems to be doing better, but washing sheets in this is always an issue. They get balled up on one side and raise heck when spinning. Will wait and see. Thanks again,Robert

The black rubber bands are a factor, but so is the suspension rod system... Have you watched the tub with the front panel off? I had one of these where the main drive pulley would make contact with the bottom of the cabinet when full of water. Inspect the bottom of the cabinet for scratches and dents, also keep an eye out for tiny bits of the black rubber belt as this indicates a failing "mode shifter."

I will have a look with the panel off. I ran a load yesterday and it did okay. My mom ran a load this morning and it acted up again. Out of balance and loud, normal load of laundry. Not even five years old.
