Has anyone else has seen this problem?   Our Miele G892 has a small solenoid on the right side when looking at the front door, about half way up connected to the yellow flat  plastic water distributor(?) that takes up much of the right side of the dishwasher.

A slight sideways pressure, like from the cabinet enclosure, causes it to dribble water all over.

Do they all do this?  Has anyone found a source for the rubber o-ring / gasket that fits inside?   Any other tricks to ensure this won't leak?

Thanks!

If it only leaks when you push on it.....don't push on it. ;)  Miele is the only source for Miele parts if you want to try replacing the seal. 800-999-1360

.   It didn't take much to make it leak, I think the insulation/side-panel might have been enough.

Miele of course does not sell the seal separately, so a trip to the local supply store found an $0.25 o-ring very close to the same size.   With that installed the valve (hard-water mixing) functions normally and no longer leaks.

Thanks...
