So Adam, which part number did you finally install?

I have the same problem with my upper ice maker. It's pretty weird, but I purchased mine at the same time, the problem occurred at the same time and I have gone through the EXACT same steps as you! Just not as diligent as you as it's taken  me much longer conclude the board was the culprit. Wish I had come across it earlier!

I happened to find this forum while searching for the control board DA41-00617A. After reading your success story I thought this was the correct part number. Then I figured I better look at the old board to be sure. It says DA92-00355A. 

So I'm having the same problem as well with the part numbers and suppliers. 

Thanks for the help. 

BTW, is it still working correctly?
