gas dryer Whirlpool model GGW9200LW1 not heating

I have this Whirlpool gas dryer model no GGW9200LW1 that does not heat.I have taken the bottom off and can see that the iginiter does not come on.It shows to have about 70 ohms.There is no voltage going to it.What are the things that I need to check out?

This Whirlpool gas dryer model no GGW9200LW1 does not heat.I have taken off the bottom and can see that the igitiner does not get red.I have checked for voltage to the igitiner but none found.Where do I go from here?What supplies voltage to the igitiner?Do the coils need replacing?As far as I know they are original ones.Please help.

Did you check the thermal fuse for continuity like Captain Dunsel suggested?

Yes I checked the thermal fuse and it was good.Now what?

I would make sure that i had 120 volts to ground on both sides of that thermal fuse .Than you could move on with that same method to the Hi limit thermostat. Than move on to this PartPart number: WP338906   Be careful with testing this sensor with voltage on as i seem one of the spade just fall off and it could cause a short so maybe pull one wire off and check for ohms.Thats p to you.

Captain, I've seen that exact same thing happen 2 or 3 times.  One time I was cleaning a gas dryer and next thing I see the wire to the flame sensor dangling loose!

Looks like the rivet metal fatigues and just falls off.

Found hi -limit thermostate bad>Replaced it and thermo fuse,now dryer works.Thanks to all of you guys for the insight and help.
