Maytag Dryer SDE515DayW not heating

My dryer is no longer heating.  When you open the door the light is not on.  Everything else is good, timer. tumble all good.

POWER?!?!  Sorry can you give me a little more.  Its has power and it turns on, tumbles just no heat or light.

The heating element and the drum light are the only two loads served by L2. The timer and motor both run on L1 so, if L2 is missing, these loads are not affected.

 

 

Assuming the drum light is not burned out, then this problem description means L2 is missing. I'd start at the power cord terminal block in the back of the dryer, probably find a burnt connection on the L2 lug.
