HOTPOINT Washer Model VSBR3100G2WW Does Not Spin or Agitate

Hotpoint Washer fills, drains but no spin or agitation. Lid switch passed continuity test. It started with occasional not pinning then no spinning and now no agitation, either. I opened up the front and checked for some visible trouble, but it looks as good as new (6 years old) and nothing loose. The motor occasionally turned with slow agitation and even spinned a bit once as I was testing it, but no more. Motor assembly looks very clean, LED on the circuit board lights 1 sec ON / 1 second OFF, indicating stand by mode while the timer goes thru its stages and clicking between modes as though it is working fine.

Any ideas what it could be?

Is there an easy way to test the timer with a multimeter? I am thinking of replacing the timer?

Drive Belt is okay?

Yes. Looks and feels like new with sufficient tension on it. Turns the drum easily when pulled by hand.

Is motor running?

No. The timer clicks and washer drains without any spinning action. Motor is quite and not moving and does not seem to try to move either. The LED light above the motor indicates "standby mode" (1 second on 1 second off) based on the drawing chart.

There should be instructions on the tech sheet for testing for voltage at the motor. That would be the next step if you are positive no error codes exist.

Where can I get the tech sheet? All I have is a one sheet drawing that came inside the control compartment. By the way, thanks for trying to help!
