Ice maker dispenser door is not closing completely - closes partially but stops short and does not seal allowing warm air up into freezer and causing ice melt. Flapper Door Motor? Door bracket connector? Dispenser control board?

last Kitchenaid I had with this issue was solved with a new flapper door motor:

On several I have seen, simply pushing the flapper back in place makes it seat correctly. The ice flap door door tries to close on a piece of ice and changes its own resting point.:buddha:
