Dryer had no power to control panel.

Diagnosed faulty thermal limiter.

Checked and cleaned dryer duct, including cavity duct.

Replaced thermal limiter. Now have a faulty safety thermostat (no power to control panel).

What could cause both of these parts to fail quick succession?

Thanks,

Sam

the diagram shows 120 volts supply at J2 pin 1 hot (red/blk), J2 pin 2 neutral (white), does not go through thermostat. check this voltage 1st, if not present, suspect unsatisfactory AC voltage or wiring harness. im looking at the service manual for this unit.
