I own a 2012 Danby silhouette dbc2760bls wine fridge that was working great until one night I had to manually shutoff the circuit breaker that the fridge was plugged into. When I turned the breaker back on the fridge did not turn on (there is power coming from the original plug and I have plugged it into many working outlets with no luck.   If anyone has any ideas on if this is something that might be an easy fix to at least try before calling a repair place I would greatly appreciate it..

Thanks

When you say, "does not turn on," do you mean there is no power at all, no lights? Or do you mean it will not cool?

Second, is there a knob controlling this unit, or is there a digital display and buttons?

Nothing much shows up when I run this model number- if it is digital I would suspect a blown computer board, if it is mechanical, I would suspect the compressor start relay.

So when I plug it in there are no lights, fan,  or any noise from the unit at all.  It is all digital.  Does this mean a computer board and it is worth replacing?

You will have to contact Danby and inquire as to the price of the controls... I don't see control parts for sale at any of my usual sources. There may be a fuse located somewhere, but I doubt it, you will have to weigh the price of parts/repair vs. the price of a new unit.:fouetaa:

thank you Hiroshi,  I will do just that.  Much appreciated.
