It tosses and pumps the water out but when it hits 7 it pauses then turns off completely.   I've checked the level it is good.  Tried resetting the pressure level indicator.   I know there is a way to run a debug but can't remember the steps.   Any suggestions. Also any suggestions on where to get the service manual.

Service manual is usually in a plastic bag stuck on the inside front of the machine. You can either use a putty knife to open the top or simply tilt the machine back and reach up the front panel. They are usually on the right side. What I would do first is make sure the tub spins by hand if it does I would use the service manual to check for error codes and see if it will spin in diagnostic mode. If it is s shutting off I would suspect to see an error code. You can get the manual here in the download section but you would have to upgrade your membership. I would also visually inspect the circuit board there is a service bulliten about burned resistors on your model. There is allso a service bulliten about a lr ( locked rotor) error could be caused by poor crimping of the terminals to the water valves.

The Service Mode can be entered in the middle of any wash cycle. While in the Service Mode, the servicer can start a variety of special service tests. Accessing Service Mode: Pressing down the delicates and heavy soil keys for 3 seconds places the machine in the Service Mode. Motor speed will be displayed when started. To exit Service Mode, press delicates and heavy soil keys for 3 seconds again.

Pressing Spin while in service mode: Runs Quick Spin test.    Press Start/Pause to exit test.

If it won't spin at all, suspect the MCU. Motor Controller Board.

thanks for the information.  I ran the diagnostics after confirming it was gently spinning.  it returned a 05. error code.  I don't remember seeing any manual when I took the door off.   But will be checking again.  and check the connections of the level indicator.

  1. Error 5 Continuous

    unbalance

  2. circuit

    (During Spin only).

    Unbalance circuit is always open.

Go to “Wet Clothes”, page 3. (See unbalance harness connections)

    Wet Clothes

    • Very small clothes loads can cause unbalances. Add additional towels.

    • Excessive suds may have been present. Check for diagnostic code 16.

    • Check unbalance harness connections at all switches and at main harness connection on top of Outer Tub Assembly for connectivity.

    • Inertial Unbalance Switch tripped too soon, resulting in lower spin speeds. Run Quick Spin Test to check unbalance switches and Control Board.

    • Check for restricted drain system.
    • Perform “Motor Drive System Test”.
