Viking Refrigerator interior lights off

Viking VIRB536

The refrigerator seems to be cooling fine. I have an intermittent problem where the lights turn off and stay off. I turned the main disconnect off and the lights came back on. I don't think it was in Sabath mode, as I didn't see the 3 blue lights on the panel lit. What are your thoughts on this? I'm thinking it is a faulty door switch or possibly the sabath relay. I haven't looked at the wiring diagram yet. It seems like the bottom door switch activates the lights. I'm not sure what the top door switch does. Does anyone know?

Check the door switch, and there is probably a bi-metal heat limiter for the lights mounted near the bulb(s). If the door is open for a long period, the bi-metal will kill power to the lights and it may not be resetting itself...

Thanks for the help

There are two switches for this model. The bottom switch seems to control the lights. I removed the switch and checked for continuity. It appears to be in working order.

If I turn power off to the refrigerator, the lights will work after I turn the power on. They will work for a while, sometimes intermittently, and then go back off. Do you have any suggestions?

I just looked through the wiring diagram. It could be the power control board keeping the lights off. There is a relay in the board. I'm assuming it is for sabath mode. The board is over 200 dollars. Hopefully, I can get it to replicate the problem again, and I'll check for neutral coming out of the cabinet light terminal at the board.

sometimes the bulb socket will start making poor contact, but if you have 2 or more bulbs acting up, look to a common component
