Old double oven. Top oven not heating. Selector switch works (red led lights when knob turned). Thermostat led will not light, nor will oven heat. Looking for trouble shooting advice and/or replacement part numbers for thermostat.

I recently encountered a similar problem with the 1970 GE J-470 Double Oven in my mother's kitchen

The problem was located in the large oven and was solved by replacing the oven sensor part# WB21X158

NOS of this part located on Ebay for $27.00

You can look at a picture of the part to see if your oven has this element. Otherwise good luck - please let me know what you do. I'm working hard to educate myself on this older range. It's a workhorse but parts and knowledge are a deep challenge.
