The machine is 14 years old. I have the service manual( courtesy this forum previously) ,and thanks to this forum have looked after three other dd603 mach9nes for family.

BUT.. Both my drawers re not dispensing rinse aid. top drawer , used every day or 2 hjas not used any for months .

Have run diagnostic check and can hear solenoid operating but nothing is dispensed. Adjusted amount to be dispensed to max and retested, still nothing comes out of slot under detergent drawer. Removed , detetergent/rinse aid unit, dissambled dispenser solenoid and pump.

( if you try this do not drop little rubber parts frominside pump.

Cleaned all parts ,checked inlet and outlet ports were clean and not blocked.

RE assembled , set dispenser setting still set to max, retested. hear solenoid working , or is it only trying?,

But nothing dispensed ...
Bottom drawer same, just dont know how long it has not worked as we seldom use it.

Time to give up??

sounds like you have a faulty dispenser but for both to be faulty it is unusual

I have discovered the following:

When running diagnostics on the dispenser the clicking/pulsing sound does not necessarily mean the rinse aid solenoid is operating. I finally found out the controller was faulty -would not operate a rinse aid dispenser that was fine on another board.

The detergent diverter should be connected when running any test on the rinse aid dispenser. , operating the dispenser although clicking.
