Dryer RES7745RQO Door Switch 3 vs 2 Wire

I'm about to order PN WP3406107 to replace my PN WP3406109 bc I can't find the latter. When I install this new part, what happens to that extra terminal? And which one will be the extra? The middle? Thanks.

This should be a quick disconnect plug that will plug in only one way . The extra wire is for models with a drum light ,so the third wire goes nowhere on models without drum lights

OK, sweet! Thanks! It's supposed to arrive on Monday, so fingers crossed I'll have dry clothes again on Tuesday!

Turned out great! The only problem is that I have three left over bolts, and I can't figure out where they go, lol! But, hey, it's working, and that's what matters!
