Does it drain the water out? If it does then you most likely need the pressure switch Part number: 5304504077

Part number: 5304504077

They have updated the part so that it is harder for food to get inside. You may be able to clean it out but it can happen again. If it is not draining then I would disconnect it from the disposal and try to suck water out thru the drain hose with a shop vac no water sucks out the you have a clog somewhere if water does vacuume out the you need to check if the drain pump is running when it's supposed to be draining. If it is running but not moving water then bad pump, if it is getting power but not running bad pump. If it is not getting power then bad wireing or main control board.

sorry, forgot to mention that it was draining fine.

i think i just fixed it.  i pulled the unit, tipped it on its side took the bottom cover off to find the Pressure sensor.  it was FILLED with sludge(pic below). i removed the sludge with a twist tie.

i plugged everything back together and ran it.  no good.......got an I50 error and it was leaking from the discharge pump.

i removed the discharge pump again and noticed that i placed the rubber gasket in the pump housing instead of placing it around the pump itself.  once i did that and put it all back together I tried it again......no good....I50.

i then removed the main circulation pump and capacitor.  i tested the capacitor and it was fine.  i put the motor and cap back in the unit and was going to test for proper voltage.  well......it started to work fine at that point.  so at this point i think im good.  thanks for the advice it was dead on.20160709_132210.jpg
