Samsung Dryer DV419AGW/XAA loud squealing noise

Hello,
I have a Samsung gas dryer (DV419AGW/XAA) that is making a loud, squealing/screeching noise. I took the dryer apart and found that the idler wheel bearing was completely missing from the idler wheel, with alot of metal shavings and debris around it (also found alot on the electric motor). I cleaned up the dryer, installed a new idler wheel. I checked all four of the drum rollers and they appeared to rotate freely. The belt seemed to be good enough to reuse. When I put it all back together, the noise is still there. Could you please give me your opinion on what I should replace next to remove this noise? Thanks so much!!!  ( I made a .mp4 recording of the noise but there doesn't seem to be a way to upload the file.)

Exactly what part did you replace? For this dryer you can order the pulley without bearing. The pulley with bearing or the pulley assembly with bracket. Replacing the entire assembly should clear up any squealing. The bearing shaft on the bracket is probably damaged unless you possibly have a bad roller. Wish I were there.

idler and rollers are the most common cause of noise. Also the felt seals on the drum can wear and tear and cause noise. The drum can crack or split on the seam. Something could be  in the blower wheel housing. Motors can make noise. Make sure it is straight and the clips are secure, I normally rule them out by pulling the drum out and leaving the door switch connected and start the motor..  Also all the metal on metal connections can rattle quite a bit and the solution is to put aluminum tape between all metal on metal connections like under heater mounting bracket.

Santa,

I replaced the pulley with the bearing (not the assembly with the bracket).  I will see if the bearing shaft on the bracket is damaged.

Johntech,

Thank you! I will take the belt off of the drum and run it to see if it might be the motor or the blower wheel housing.

Here is a link to an audio recording of the sound.
