Hello,

Been finding many broiler solenoids, but not the main oven solenoid.  I have searched the board and numerous parts sites and haven't found anything.

The Thermador model is PGR366ZS/01.

The difference is the orifice opening.

For the oven the orifice is supposed to be .219.  The incorrect or correct for the broiler is .187.

Attached are the images .

Please let me know if you can help.

Regards,
Rod

This post is a bit confusing, what exactly is going wrong?

If I search by your model at BSH, it says the valve(solenoid) is part # 00423022 in the breakdown, which suggests they use the same part for all three solenoids ... The diagram

shows the unit uses three DSI modules also, one for Bake the other 2 for Broil, same part number for all three of those also...

Thank you Hiroshi for the response.

Although the diagrams are showing all three solenoids the same my unit has 2 of the same and one different installed.  The oven solenoid is different than the broil solenoids.  The oven solenoid has a orifice opening of .219.  The broiler solenoids have an opening of .187.  This means that the oven gets more gas.  If I use the smaller orifice solenoid then the oven burner might not get enough gas to operate correctly.

I attached pictures of the units.  part number 00423022 has a different bracket flange and I may be able to make it work if it has the correct orifice opening.  I have not been able to confirm the size.  Seems all pictures on these appliance parts sights neglect to put the most important side on display.  The bracket side has a description of the orifice, psi, volts, and watts.

I have received a couple of responses from appliance parts suppliers to my query, but I need them to verify the part.

The pictures provided in the earlier post show the solenoid and the description.

Best Regards,

Rod

It looks like you could use the orifice off of one of the broil solenoids and install it on a new part, most orifices are removable in case it needs to be LP fueled- solenoids just open and close, they do not impel or otherwise affect flow.
