Maytag mff2558vem4 has dashes for temp settings

I have a maytag freach door Bottom freezer fridge. When I got it and few months ago it worked great. Then I went to open it and it was warm and had dashes instead of numbers on the display. I recently went through all the test in service mode and everything functioned properly. I also ran it through the program procedure and it started working again. I went out this morning and it was still working then while I had the door open the compressor shut off, damper door closed and the dashes appeared. I am thinking I need a new board. I just don't want to order the board and it not fix it.

Thanks

Trent

You are going to need a new main control. It is referred to as a "Jazz Board." They are on the cheaper end of the spectrum as far as main boards go, but I have seen your symptom before and the part no is:  Part number: WPW10503278  it should come with an instruction sheet, if not, let us know... You get a $60 core return if you bring your old board to the store when you buy the new part...
