MAH3000AWW no joy after motor/board replacement

I had symptoms similar to a number of other reports here on my series 37 washer -- press start button, machine beeps, little spurt of water, shuts down after 1 or 2 seconds.  Nothing appeared to be smoked on the Motor Control Board, but the consensus on forums was to get the MCB/motor replacement kit. (e.g., this thread:

Repair went smoothly.  One small issue was that the blue 2 terminal (power) connector on the main wire harness did not mate smoothly with the new white connector to the AC line filter.  I can push it in there, and I'm sure the connection is made, but the geometry of the two connectors (tabs and slots) didn't line up as I would have expected.

When I plugged in the washer and pressed start, crickets.  No beep, no light, no noise whatsoever.

Difficult to do all of the Motor Test Procedure because the procedure is written for the previous MCB.

This machine has previously had the wax motor replacement/main board repair and a new bearing.

How do I get power back in the machine?
