I have a whirlpool wtw4850xqo washer that will not fill with anything but cold water. I changed the inlet valve and still no hot water. Yes I checked the supply and its fine. No matter what setting I select, hot ,warm, cold etc I only get cold water. Any ideas as to what might be the problem?

What cycle are you running? Try something besides the normal cycle. Try heavy duty if it has it

If it runs hot water then turns to cold most likely your temp sensor is out of spec. If the water stops completely and your hot water valve is getting power but not opening then the valve is bad both same part. Part number: W10423125
