Not heating when temp switch is set to "regular".

Works on other settings. The switch is not availabled.

Could I jumper the white and black going into the temp switch?

Your cycling thermostat needs voltage to its bias heater, so if you jumper "normal" into operation, you should use piggy back terminals and leave the switch in place, and notice the Bk is switched to the Wht at two points, one of which runs through a 3k resistor ( you don't want to leave the resistor out of the circuit ), but running the machine for 5 extra minutes at Medium heat when drying would work too, without changing a thing...

Don't know if I'll have anything meaningful to add but I doubt if your temp switch is bad, but it could be, I'd probably be looking at your auto dry control board. I'm not going to directly answer your question because I'm old(er)......it's late, I'm tired.......and I've had at least a few beers......so, I'm just giving out an answer in my world, and maybe it'll help in your world also.

One thing I'm not seeing in my two short glances of the schematic you posted. If there is an "electronic dry control" board.....there "almost" must be at least one relay, and most probable....two relays, but one for sure. Anyway, I'd go in that direction, but don't quote me.....LOL   There's a reason for this.....because I don't know sh#t....LOL...well, that's not really the reason but, it's close enough.......I tell ya what though....it looks like this is similar, or the same as the Whirlpool dryer with the dry control board, and I've had one, maybe two......but I think only one, and that was about two or three years ago(I've been a repair tech for 23+ years) I could not repair the entire problem. It had at least two problems. I think I replaced the timer(not sure) and got it running, and it worked fine if you used "time dry", but using the regular cycle it wouldn't heat. I replaced everything......still didn't work on regular.

They were regular customers(at least they used to be, haven't called me since.....but they weren't originally from around here, maybe they got beamed up) and I still got paid for getting the dryer up and working and they were happy, but they asked me to keep searching to see if I could find out why it would not work on the regular/auto cycle. I did a lot of research on this and I have still not found an answer. I'm just a lowly humble appliance repair tech.......but I try my best.......

If you or someone else can find out the solution to your problem I would be most appreciative.
