Problems with Kenmore side-by-side Refrig, pan underneath overflowing

I have checked and the ocassional water (maybe once a day, or more, not sure) is coming from the freezer drain tube . There is no unusual ice or water on the floor of the freezer. My condenser coils are fairly clean, as are the condenser fan blades.

I have two of these units side-by-side. Naturally one pan is empty and the other overflows!

If this unit has a water filter behind the grille, you may have a faulty filter housing.  When the housing leaks, the defrost drain will catch the water until it eventually overflows.

May as well replace the filter at the same time.

+3  Very common.  It's obviously a water leak somewhere coming from the main water supply. A cracked filter housing would be the most common problem.
