kitchenaid french door water line replacement

model # KFIS27CXMS1   on the top of this fridge is a 1/4" water line that drops down into the freezer compartment which dumps water into the ice maker.   there is only a few inches of line exposed on the outside and where it goes down into the freezer the line is glued or pressed into a rubber boot looking thing that seals the hole in the top of the fridge and also acts like a funnel so the water goes to the ice tray.   that boot looking item has a hole in it and I need to replace it..  I cant locate the other end of the line to disconnect it so that it can be replaced.  the valve is at the back of the fridge at the bottom and it has one line coming off of it which goes to the door water dispenser.  there are no access panels anywhere inside or on the outside besides the one on the lower back for the compressor and the fan,,  any help would be greatly appreciated     thank u
