I'm trying to fix a front loading washer with an F11 code. I ran the diagnostic test the F11 was showing up just after C02. I watched the video about adding solder to the contacts on the CCU for the three wire harness, and tried that. The drain spin mode (with no spin selected) ran after that so I tried to run the diagnostic test again. It ran through to C04 but showed F11 at that point. Does that mean that the MCU is at fault? Is there a repair or am I looking at replacing the $300 part? Is there something else I should know by seeing when the F11 code comes up during the diagnostics? Is there any other test to run before springing for the MCU?

In regular cycle... Does it fill and then begin to agitate? Or doesn't it ever agitate?

Thank you for your reply. My father decided to replace the machine instead of try to fix it.
